Laser hair removal in Tashkent

Which laser we use

The Soprano Titanium diode laser with skin cooling. Cooling is not an option but part of how the device works: the tip cools the skin at the moment of the pulse, so the treatment is comfortable even in sensitive areas such as deep bikini, underarms and face. The diode laser works with different skin types and hair thickness, and the master adjusts the settings to your area and tolerance.

How laser hair removal works

The laser pulse is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, heats the hair follicle and disables it. This only works on hairs in the active growth phase – and at any moment only some of the hairs on the body are in it. That’s why hair removal is done as a course a few weeks apart: over several sessions all hairs are “caught”, and the area gradually becomes lighter and thinner.

For the same reason the laser does not work on blond, grey or red hair – there is too little pigment for the pulse to reach the follicle.

How many sessions you need

Usually 6–10 sessions. The range is wide because the result depends on the area, hair density and colour, hormones and the initial condition of the skin. At the first visit the master will look at the area and tell you what to expect. After the course, maintenance sessions are done as needed, not on a schedule.

How to prepare

– 1–2 days before, shave the area with a razor: the hair must be shaved off, while the root stays in the skin.
– For at least 2 weeks before the session, do not use wax, sugaring or an epilator: the laser needs the hair root in place.
– 2 weeks before and after – no tanning, sunbeds or self-tanner.
– On the day of the treatment, come without creams, oils or deodorant on the area.
– If you take medication, especially retinoids or antibiotics, tell the master in advance.

What to do after the session

Slight redness and a feeling of warmth in the first hours are a normal reaction. For 1–2 days, avoid the bathhouse, sauna, swimming pool and hot baths, exercise that makes you sweat heavily, and scrubs. For two weeks – no tanning or sunbeds; apply SPF to exposed areas. In the meantime just keep the skin moisturised. After 1–2 weeks the treated hairs will start to fall out – this is expected, don’t pull them out.

Contraindications

The treatment is not done, or requires a doctor’s approval, in case of:

– pregnancy and breastfeeding;
– cancer;
– acute infections, inflammation or skin damage in the area;
– a fresh tan in the area;
– photosensitising medication, including retinoids and some antibiotics;
– decompensated diabetes, epilepsy;
– blond, grey or red hair – the laser does not work on it.

We always act in the interest of your health: if the specialist thinks the treatment may be contraindicated, we will suggest other solutions and give recommendations, and will probably suggest postponing the visit.

How many laser hair removal sessions do I need?

Usually 6–10 sessions a few weeks apart: the laser acts on hairs in the active growth phase, so the course is spread out over time. The exact number depends on the area, hair density and colour and hormones – the master will assess this at the first visit. That’s exactly why we offer subscriptions for 3, 5, 7 and 9 sessions: each session costs less with them.

How do subscriptions work, and can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Subscriptions for 3 or 5 sessions can be paid in two stages – 50% at the first visit and 50% at the second. Subscriptions for 7 or 9 sessions – one third at the first, second and third visits. Until the next stage is paid, the next session is not possible; payments made are non-refundable.

Does it hurt?

We use the Soprano Titanium diode laser with skin cooling – the tip cools the skin at the moment of the pulse, so the treatment is comfortable even in sensitive areas. It feels like short warm snaps and depends on the area: underarms and bikini are more sensitive than arms or legs. If it’s unpleasant, tell the master – the settings can be changed as you go.

How should I prepare for the procedure?

1–2 days before the session, shave the area with a razor – the hair must be shaved off while the root stays in the skin. Don’t use wax, sugaring or an epilator for at least 2 weeks before: the laser needs the hair root. Avoid tanning and sunbeds and don’t use self-tanner for 2 weeks before and after the session. On the day of the treatment, come without creams, oils or deodorant on the area.

What should I avoid after laser hair removal?

For 1–2 days – no bathhouse, sauna, swimming pool, hot bath, sports that make you sweat heavily, or scrubs. For two weeks – no tanning or sunbeds; apply SPF to exposed areas. Slight redness in the first hours is a normal reaction; keep the skin moisturised and don’t rub the area.

What are the contraindications?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, cancer, acute infections and inflammation, skin damage or a fresh tan in the area, photosensitising medication (including retinoids and some antibiotics), decompensated diabetes, epilepsy. Blond, grey and red hair cannot be removed with a laser – it has too little pigment. If our specialists think the treatment may be contraindicated, we will suggest other solutions and will probably suggest postponing the visit.

Do you do laser hair removal for men?

Yes, all areas and packages apply to both men and women at the same price. Men most often ask for the back, shoulders, chest and neck.
